Actress, influencer and performing artist helping festival raise funds by offering exclusive performance and Q&A virtually for fans.

BETHLEHEM, PA— Beloved influencer and performing artist Gabi DeMartino is joining with her hometown music festival, Musikfest, for a virtually streamed mini-set of songs, as well as a virtual Q&A for her fans on Sat., Aug. 8, at 11 a.m. Tickets are $10 and available at www.eventbrite.com/e/gabi-demartino-tickets-115735408723. All proceeds will go to support ArtsQuest, the nonprofit that presents Musikfest, the largest free-admission music festival in the nation.

DeMartino hosts her own YouTube channel, Fancy Vlogs By Gab, with more than three million subscribers, as well as runs an incredibly popular Instagram feed for a fan base of more than 4.4 million followers. She is also part of the renowned YouTube duo Niki and Gabi, with her sister Niki DeMartino, and is in the process of recording a new album.

“ArtsQuest, which presents Musikfest, offers more than 4,000 concerts, programs and educational classes for students each year, with 50 percent of these free,” says DeMartino. “I’ve been attending Musikfest for years and there’s really not another festival like it in the country.  Due to the ongoing pandemic, however, they really need help to ensure they come back for their 38th year next August. I’m hoping my fans join me for this exclusive performance to help raise funds for an amazing organization doing some incredible things.”

Among the 90 other artists taking part in Musikfest 2020 virtually are KT Tunstall, Robert Randolph, Rusted Root’s Michael Glabicki, Reverend Horton Heat and Low Cut Connie’s Adam Weiner.

ArtsQuest, the nonprofit behind Musikfest, typically presents 11 festivals and 1,000 concerts annually, with 50 percent of them free to attend. The organization, however, has been closed since mid-March due to the COVID-19 crisis, losing nearly $20 million in revenue.
