Symphony Ball 2021 – A Virtual Celebration of Music 

Saturday, February 6, 2021 at 7 pm – FREE 

JOIN us for an exciting virtual event this season —A Very Special Virtual Celebration of Music on Saturday, February 6, 2021.  We have lined up special celebrity guests, featured artists from the Allentown Symphony Association and testimonials from community leaders. Our emcee for the evening will be actor and Bethlehem native, Daniel Roebuck. You will hear testimonials from community leaders such as our honorary Ball chairs, Vince and Michelle Sorgi. Other testimonials will be heard from Dr. Brian & Dr. Constantina Pippis-Nester of LVHN, Laurie Hackett of Air Products, JB & Kathleen Reilly, and others.    Various performances include: the Allentown Symphony Orchestra’s Prelude to Die Meistersinger von Nurnberg by Richard Wagner, and Orff’s Carmina Burana – O Fortuna, performances from featured artists as Olga Kern, Lester Lynch performing Gershwin’s I Got Plenty o’ Nuttin’, Simon Mulligan’s performance of Gershwin’s Rhapsody in Blue and a fun take on the history of Ball fashions from Carson Kressley.   It will be much fun to watch. The virtual Ball is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 6th at 7pm and it is a FREE streaming program. There will be opportunities to donate and participate on the silent auction. Auction bidding commences on Saturday, January 30th. Pre-Event Ball Wine Tasting – Single Ticket Patrons

Before the virtual Ball, join us for cocktail hour on a Zoom wine tasting session! Enjoy three classic Willamette Valley wines that express the terroir of their three estate vineyards. Tickets: $175 includes wine, wine tasting session + special treat. Wine will be shipped to Miller Symphony Hall at the end of January. Pick up wine and special treat at Symphony Hall at curbside: Feb. 2nd & Feb. 3rd from 3:30 pm to 6:30 pm. Last date to order January 20th. Wine details are below. (Residents outside of the area will have wine delivered to their homes.)

Electric pink in color with aromas of juicy strawberry, watermelon and peach and accented by floral honeysuckle. Dry with a medium-body, round mouthfeel and vibrant palate of nectarine, red cherry, tangerine, tropical papaya and vanilla creme. The bright acidity creates a lively and clean finish.
