After more than three years of being closed and a soft opening in November, Yianni’s Taverna is hosting their official Grand Reopening & Ribbon Cutting Ceremony in partnership with the Hellertown-Lower Saucon Chamber of Commerce, a proud partner of the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce! Both entities are thrilled to celebrate this momentous occasion with the community on Tuesday, January 26th from 5:30 PM – 7:30 PM.
Yianni’s Taverna’s forced closure was a result of a devastating fire that occurred in 2017. Since that time, their team has been hard at work restoring the restaurant to its former glory. Now, with the interior of the restaurant renovated, they are ready to bring the flavors of the Mediterranean and the hospitality of the Greek isles back to the Lehigh Valley! For a listing of their hours and menu, visit https://www.yiannistaverna.com/.
The event will kick off at 5:30 PM with the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony taking place at 5:45 PM. Light refreshments will be provided for guests. Attendees will also have the opportunity to tour the newly renovated space and network.
Jessica O’Donnell, EVP of Affiliated Chambers for the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce, commented, “The staff at Yianni’s Taverna has worked tirelessly to ensure they could serve the community that they love once again. Their efforts have been truly inspiring, and we are both honored and humbled to be a part of this momentous celebration. Be sure to join us on January 26th as we officially welcome them back!”
Melissa Zannakis, Co-Owner of Yianni’s Taverna, said, “We are so happy to see the Taverna full of life again! Thank you to all our fabulous customers, families, and friends for supporting us through the years. We are open and looking forward to serving each and every one of you!”
Ricky Gower, Chair of the Hellertown-Lower Saucon Chamber Board, commented, “Grand Openings and Ribbon Cuttings are always great days for our Hellertown-Lower Saucon Business Community. Our upcoming Ribbon Cutting at Yianni’s is extra special—it’s a celebration of perseverance through adversity. Be sure to come out and celebrate with the Yianni’s family for the start of a great run at a great location in a beautiful setting with fabulous cuisine!”
