Communities In Schools of Eastern Pennsylvania Announces the Appointments of New Members to Board of Directors

Allentown, PA (February 16, 2020)– Communities In Schools of Eastern Pennsylvania (CISEasternPA), a nonprofit organization providing educational support and resources to Lehigh, Northampton and Berks County students, recently strengthened its Board of Directors with the appointment of Joetta Clark Diggs, Reginald Romain, Constance Kaye Nelson, and Karianne Gelinas.

“Communities In Schools of Eastern Pennsylvania is honored to have Joetta, Constance, Karianne and Reginald join the organization’s Board of Directors,” said Tim Mulligan, CEO, CISEasternPA. “Their commitment to impact the lives of Lehigh Valley’s youth is inspiring, and I am confident their diverse experiences and heartfelt dedication will make a difference in the lives of our students.”

A 4-time Olympian and motivational speaker, Joetta Clark Diggs embodies the passion and vision that CISEasternPA’s Board of Directors’ needs. Joetta’s dynamic personality and local/national associations will help transform the organization’s resources.

Reginald Romain, Global Sales Manager for ADP, LLC, brings financial experience and an ability to optimize funds and improve the financial stability to CISEasternPA. With over 23 years of sales and leadership experience, Romain looks forward to offering the board management and financial assistance to reach the nonprofit’s goals.

Constance Kaye Nelson, Associate Attorney at Gross McGinley, LLP, seeks to provide opportunities for families by expanding CISEasternPA’s relationships and partnerships. She is currently learning about the organization’s breadth of services and determining where her time and connections will be most beneficial in the future.

Karianne Gelinas, Vice President of Strategic Initiative & Research at Lehigh Valley Economic Development Corporation, prioritizes arming educators with the information they need to prepare students with 21st-century skills. She hopes to bring her management experience to CISEasternPA and assist the organization in reaching current and future goals.
