Allentown School District In Your Schools: April 4 – 15, 2016



 

Allentown School District announces the following events will take place between in our schools.

 

  • William Allen High School – April 4 – 29; “Faces of the Lehigh Valley” Art Exhibit at the Community Gallery at Penn State Lehigh Valley features artwork by William Allen High School students. Gallery hours are: Monday and Wednesday: 11:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; Tuesday and Thursday: 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.; and Friday and Saturday: 11:00 to 3:00 p.m. Gallery is closed on Sundays.

 

  • ALL ASD Parents and Guardians – Trexler Middle School; April 6; 5:00 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.: How to Connect with ASD Services/Supports Workshop in the Trexler Middle School Library. Information and tools on how to navigate the services, supports and resources provided within the Allentown School District and/or community. FREE and open to all ASD parents/guardians.

 

  • William Allen High School – April 8; 2:40 p.m. – 4:15 p.m.: Annual Prom Fair in the Tenth Grade Cafeteria sponsored by Muhlenberg College’s “Dress Upon a Star” Club. All items are free. Open to all students, even if not attending prom. Selection of dresses, purses, jewelry and shoes.

 

  • ASD Middle Schools – Trexler Middle School; April 9; 7:30 p.m.: ASD Middle School ‘Bands in the Round’ Concert in the Trexler Middle School Gym. $3 admission, children 6 and under are free.

 

  • ASD Middle Schools – April 13; museum hours: ASD Middle School Art Show “Swan Song” begins April 14 and runs through May 8 at the Allentown Art Museum located at 31 N. 5th Street.

 

  • William Allen High School – April 14, 15 and 16; 7:00 p.m.; and April 17, 2:00 p.m.: Spring Musical “West Side Story” presented in the Dr. John McHugh Auditorium. Prices are: $8/students, $10/seniors and $12/adults.

 

  • Sheridan Elementary School – April 16; 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.: Sharing with Sheridan, the Sheridan community and Air Products are coming together to make our school beautiful
