“Lisa Pektor, President of PennCap Properties, grew up in Williams Township. After graduating from NYU with a Master of Science degree in Real Estate and a Bachelor of Science from Rodger Williams University, she moved to Bethlehem. Lisa is involved with CREW, Lehigh University IRE@L, and the Moravian Academy Alumni Association; and is also an advocate for Habitat for Humanity. In her free time, she enjoys archery, hiking, and farming. Lisa decided to get involved with the Man & Woman of the Year Campaign in memory of her Grandmother, Ruth, who lost her battle with stage 3 Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma in 2006. Pennsylvania holds a spot in the top 5 states for cancer diagnoses. Because of this, she believes they should be one of the top fundraising states as well. Lisa hopes you will join her in supporting The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) by making a donation to her fundraising campaign for Man or Woman of the Year. She is a part of a team that is working hard to raise as much as possible in a 10-week period. Her team will be raising funds for the campaign by utilizing their personal and professional relationships, engaging in social media, and by hosting fundraising events, such as a car show, archery event, and a mini golf tournament. Every dollar she raises counts as one vote, and the candidate who gets the most votes/raises the most money is named the Man or Woman of the Year.”
