Allentown School District announces the following events and activities throughout our District. Highlights include:
- Roosevelt Elementary School – October 18; 5:30 p.m.: Budgeting 101 for Parents – a free workshop for Roosevelt parents and guardians with a LCCC finance department rep to learn budgeting, couponing, and general financial pointers for families.
- ASD Schools – October 19; throughout the school day: Unity Day. Various schools will host activities and programs that are aligned with the national bullying prevention month and Unity Day theme: Unite for kindness, acceptance and inclusion.
- Washington Elementary School – October 20; 2:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.: Keys to Student Success Workshop for Washington parents and guardians.
- Roosevelt Elementary School – October 20; 6:00 p.m.: Books and Beyond Night is a family fun night that provides students and their families the opportunity to hang out with some of their favorite storybook characters.
- Central Elementary School – October 25; during school day: Food Trust Presentations for Grade 3 focusing on healthy eating and lifestyles.
- Washington Elementary School – October 26; 2:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.: Coach Kumari Parent Workshop for Washington parents and guardians.
- Mosser Elementary School – October 27; 6:00 p.m.: Olweus Idol Concert offers a musical approach to anti-bullying messaging.
