Allentown School District In Your Schools: November 28 – December 9, 2016



 

Allentown School District announces the following events and activities throughout our District. Highlights including some activities happening this weekend:

 

November 28 – All Students – No School – Thanksgiving Holiday

 

  • Roosevelt Elementary School – November 29; 3:30 p.m. Cooking Matters meets Tuesday in the Community School Room. Students learn about and cook nutritionist meals.

 

  • Dieruff High SchoolNovember 30; 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.: 2nd Annual Allentown Police & Dieruff Boys Basketball Game in Dieruff High School’s Dick Schmidt Gymnasium.

 

  • ASD Parents/Guardians/Community – November 30; 7:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.: Public Forum for Superintendent Candidate, Thomas Parker, Ed.D. (Spring 2017), will be held in Trexler Middle School’s Auditorium. Parents, guardians, and the community are invited to attend to meet and question the future Allentown School District Superintendent.

 

  • Raub Middle School – December 3; 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.: Discover Healthcare Club meets at Lehigh Valley Hospital on 17th Street.

 

  • Raub, Central and Union Terrace Parents/Guardians/Families – December 5; 6:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.: ASD announces the first in a series of Conversations with Parents and Guardians Meetings to be held in the Raub Middle School Gym to include parents and guardians of students at Central and Union Terrace Elementary Schools and Raub Middle School. This is an opportunity to have concerns and questions addressed, as well as discuss support services for all students and talk about working together to resolve issues.

 

  • Raub Middle School – December 6; 6:00 p.m.: Annual Winter Concert

 

  • Trexler Middle School – December 7; 6:00 p.m.: Winter Concert
