Tinkergarten Emmaus – Local Listing

Tinkergarten is a fast growing network of high quality play-based kids classes that take place in local parks—and it’s running in Emmaus! Now with over 500 leaders across the country, Tinkergarten is becoming a staple in active communities where families value healthy, social, and educational time outside for the kids. Research shows the links between play and foundational capacities such as memory, self-regulation, oral language abilities, social skills, and success in school. Trained leaders welcome children 18 months—8 years, along with their parents and caregivers, to engage in an expert-designed play scenario that helps them to develop core life skills in their local green space. Tinkergarten classes meet once per week, and are led by active community members, often parents, who are vetted, trained and supported to deliver this high quality educational experience to families. Free trials running the week of 3/27-4/8

At Tinkergarten, families meet outdoors to connect and learn through play. In this free trial class, Tinkergarten Leader, Lindsey Kleinberg, will facilitate an expert-designed play scenario, allowing children of various ages and needs to explore, problem solve, communicate, collaborate, and create together. Parents and caregivers learn, too, as we’ll share insight into your child’s development. Registration is required.
