The viewing party will be held at the PPL Public Media Center at PBS39 in Bethlehem on Thursday, April 27. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. for a mix and mingle with light refreshments; programming begins at 6:30 p.m.

This special event will feature a session from the TED Conference, “It’s Personal,” with eight speakers. This special event provides TED enthusiasts the opportunity to be among the first to hear the newest ideas from the TED stage as we experience the TED Conference together.
Session presenters include:

  • Helen Pearson, science journalist, editor, and author, talks about her book, The Life Project, the extraordinary story of the longest-running study of human development in the world.
  • Susan Pinker, psychologist, columnist, and author discusses in-person social interactions and their role in human happiness. Are they a key to health and longevity?
