K9 Mex needs new supplies to keep him safe during duty



 

 

Whitehall, PA – The K9 Kop Project is working with the community to raise funds for Mex. Mex and his handler Officer Apgar would like to purchase  a new heating/cooling system for his car while on duty. Mex is currently the only K9 Officer working with the Whitehall Police Department.

Sarah Mangano from Kutztown University along with Vickie Richards the projects manager is leading the Fundraiser. Richards comes to the project with a history of business development and operations, a former US Army Air Traffic Controller as well as philanthropist, dedicated to helping animals. She has a passion for sharing her experiences and helping out these organizations with her internship programs with local colleges and universities.

Vickie and her team are looking for support from local businesses and private citizens to help achieve their goal of $900.00 to help Mex gain the supplies he needs. The K9 Kop Project encourages everyone to support in any way they can, even spreading the word about the fundraiser will help Mex gain the supplies he needs. 100% of all donations received is helping the Whitehall Police Department and K9 Mex.
