For children ages 7 – 15! Friends of the Allentown Parks teams up with the Allentown Department of Parks and Recreation, the Allentown School District and others to bring children a fun day in the park. Learn and experience a number of different sports presented by experts in their field.

Date: Friday June 30
Time: 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. with noon break for lunch
Location: Cedar Beach/Cedar Creek Parkway
Free and open to the public. Children must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.
Sports offered: archery, baseball/softball, basketball, disc golf, football, golf, indoor rowing, spikeball, tennis, volleyball, running/track & field and hula houses.

The Allentown Health Bureau Fruit & Veggie Truck will be on site and concessions will be available from Angelo’s Concession, known for its “Walking Tacos.”

Thanks to the Lehigh Valley Iron Pigs for their support of this event as well as Archery Addictions, First Tee of the Lehigh Valley, Kids Play Tennis, Allentown YWCA and local disc golf course designers and golfers.
