BEERFEST, GOLDEN WHEEL RACE ON TAP FOR FRIDAY



 

TREXLERTOWN, Pa. – Beer and bikes are on the menu for this Friday night at the Valley Preferred Cycling Center. In addition to the 11th Annual Golden Wheel race, there is also the first-ever Beerfest on the VeloDeck this Friday night, part of the 2017 World Series of Bicycling season.

The Golden Wheel race is the first non-UCI night of the 2017 WSB season after six UCI nights in the first four weeks of the season. This week’s schedule features racing for not only professional men and women, but also for stagiaires and Legends, who are masters riders age 45 and older.

Off the track, the party will be on the VeloDeck with the first ever Beerfest here in T-Town in the hospitality area. For just $15, fans can receive admission in to the facility and the Beerfest, a free commemorative T-Town sampling mug, as well as complimentary snacks. Single tickets are on sale for Friday night’s event here and can also be purchased at the box office on the night of the event. Gates open at 6 p.m. with racing starting at 7:30 p.m.
