PROGRESSIVE ROCK ICONS KING CRIMSON BRING

‘RADICAL ACTION’ TO ALLENTOWN, PA

SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 11 AT MILLER SYMPHONY HALL

ALLENTOWN, PA – Progressive rock icons King Crimson, have announced an extension to their 2017 North American ‘Radical Action’ Tour, including a stop at Miller Symphony Hall in Allentown, PA on Saturday, November 11. Tickets are on sale Thursday, July 20 at 10:00am, at Ticketmaster and the Miller Symphony Hall Box Office.

King Crimson was conceived in 1968, and officially formed in 1969, in the Fulham Palace Cafe, London (Fripp/Ian McDonald/Greg Lake/Michael Giles/Pete Sinfield), coming to prominence after supporting The Rolling Stones at Hyde Park. Their ground-breaking debut In The Court Of The Crimson King (1969), described by Pete Townshend as “an uncanny masterpiece”, began a career that has spanned nearly five decades.

The current 8-piece lineup – its ninth since 1969 – includes founder Robert Fripp on guitar, Tony Levin on bass, singer-guitarist Jakko Jakszyk, and Mel Collins on flute and saxophones alongside the drummers and multi-instrumentalists, Gavin Harrison, Pat Mastelotto, Jeremy Stacey and Bill Rieflin. This iteration of the band has been touring since 2014, honoring the band’s strong reputation with three albums and sold out shows across the globe – a testament to the band’s timeless and original sound.
