AIR PRODUCTS FINALS SET FOR FRIDAY



 

TREXLERTOWN, Pa. – A sign that the World Series of Bicycling season is coming to a close is the Air Products Finals event coming up on the schedule. With just two weeks remaining in the 2017 season, that event is due up, this Friday night at the Valley Preferred Cycling Center.

The yearly event showcases riders who just graduated from the several classes in the Air Products Developmental Cycling Program, which is offered every summer, for over 40 years thanks to the support of Air Products. Select riders will compete in short-distance scratch races with trophy presentations to afterwards.

In addition to the Air Products action, the professional men and women as well as the stagiaires and Legends 45+ categories are to be in action as well. The official schedule is to be released shortly.

Also, it is the final Dog Day of Summer this season as fans are encouraged to bring their dogs to the track to enjoy the racing. Also, hot dogs are to be just $1 all night at the A-Treat Breakaway Café.

Fans, and dogs, can sit on the VeloDeck, the VIP hospitality area in turn 4, on Friday night for just $11 and receive a free domestic beer as well at the Beer & Wine Stand.

Gates open at 6 p.m. with racing starting at 7:30 p.m. Tickets start at $6 with children 12 years old and younger being $2. Tickets are on sale in advance here and at the box office on event night.
