Lehigh Valley Sports Hall of Fame Small School Sr. Male Multi-Sport Athlete of the Year



Cam Richardson, a senior at Northwestern Lehigh High School is the first high school athlete of the year to be chosen by The Board of Directors of the Lehigh Valley Sports Hall of Fame for the 2014-15 sports year. Richardson a three sport sports star football, basketball and track and field is the third Tiger to be recognized by LV Sports Hall of Fame. Cam is the Lehigh Valley Sports Hall of Fame Small School Sr. Male Multi-Sport Athlete of the Year.

The award is presented to athletes who have excelled in two or more sports and maintain excellent grades.

Former Head Boys Basketball Coach Paul Makovsky from the 1970’s was honored in 2011

In 2012 former Northwestern and Lehigh University football great Brett Snyder was inducted to the Lehigh Valley Sports Hall of Fame in 2012.

Snyder and Richardson both were All-State Football Players.

Tickets for Richardson’s recognition night are on sale now. The cost is $30 a ticket. The Sixth Annual Lehigh Valley Sports Hall of Fame Benefit Induction Dinner will be Saturday May 9, 2015 at the Northampton Community Center. Doors open at 4:30 PM. A Sports and Entertainment Silent Auction, raffles, basket bingos runs from 4:30 to 7 PM. Social Hour begins at 5:00 PM. A country style dinner will be served at 6:00 PM. Drawings will be held at 7 PM. Induction Ceremony begins at 7:15. Keith Groller is the Master of Ceremonies.
