The YWCA of Bethlehem Presents Prom Dress Day

The time of year is quickly approaching that strikes fear in the hearts of the parents of high school junior and senior girls across the nation. That time of year when their daughter’s have glitter in their eyes, and princess dreams in their hearts. That’s right. Prom season is approaching.

This time of year is especially terrifying for single-parent families, whose budgets may not necessarily match the dreams envisioned by their daughters. Fortunately, the YWCA of Bethlehem has a solution, and a means to fulfill their dreams without breaking your budget!

The 8th Annual Prom Dress Day, hosted by the YWCA of Bethlehem and sponsored by The Storage Center on 512, State Theatre of Easton and 100.7 WLEV, is slated for this Saturday, March 28th at the State Theatre of Easton. High school juniors and senior girls are invited to attend.

With only $5.00 and your daughter’s student ID, nothing stands between her and the dress of her dreams, and all without breaking your budget! An amazing supply of very lightly used gowns have been painstakingly donated and collected. Try on as many as she likes, once she’s found her perfect dress, it’s hers! (Don’t worry; if she doesn’t happen to find the right dress, your admission will be refunded.)

Due to the nature of the event, girls may bring one female guest in with them, and they kindly request that small children do not attend. Doors will open at the State Theatre promptly at 9:00 AM, but be prepared, as the line does tend to form early!

Thanks to the YWCA of Bethlehem, Prom doesn’t have to be terrifying for parents, nor disappointing for area juniors and seniors. Come on out and enjoy the look in her eyes when she’s found her dream dress, at your dream price!
