Penn Staters invited to “The Music of James Bond & More”

Special event to support Penn State Lehigh Valley scholarship fund

Penn State alumni and friends are invited to a special evening on Saturday, September 23 at Miller Symphony Hall in Allentown. The night, hosted by Penn State Lehigh Valley and the Penn State Lehigh Valley Alumni Society, begins at 6:00 p.m. with an exclusive VIP reception in the Rodale Room before the show, “The Music of James Bond & More,” which starts at 7:30 p.m. The Allentown Symphony Orchestra and guest soloist Rachel York will be performing music from five decades of James Bond films.

VIP reception attendees will enjoy hors d’oeuvres from Karen Hunter Catering, drinks, pictures with the Nittany Lion, networking with Penn Staters, a robust silent auction and great seats for the show. Reception sponsorship opportunities are available. Proceeds benefit the Penn State Lehigh Scholarship Fund.

“We hope Penn State alumni, their families and friends, plus other community members come join us for this night out at the symphony. It is sure to be a unique experience,” said Diane McAloon, director of community and alumni outreach at Penn State Lehigh Valley. “And the best part is, it will support scholarships for our students.”

Tickets cost $80.00 each. For more information about sponsorship opportunities or to purchase tickets, contact Diane McAloon at 610-285-5066 or lvalumni@psu.edu or visit the registration website.

The VIP reception before “The Music of James Bond & More” is one of many exciting events being held the week of Sept. 19-23 for the first official WE ARE Lehigh Valley Homecoming Week. To learn more about the other events, visit the Lehigh Valley Campus website.
