Admissions Open House at The Swain School

The Swain School, 1100 S. 24th St., Allentown, welcomes visitors to an Open House, to encourage interested families to learn more about its college preparatory program for children in preschool (age 3 as of Nov. 1) through 8th grade.

Visitors are invited to attend on Tuesday, April 28 at 6 p.m. Head of School Todd Stansbery, as well as current Swain families and staff, will be available to give tours and to provide information.

Running concurrent to the Open House is the school’s annual Student Art Show opening reception. Open House visitors will be able to view the hundreds of student art creations on display.

Swain is a co-educational, independent school offering a progressive program to 320 students who come from 22 area school districts. Small class sizes, rigorous academics, state-of-the-art technology resources, and a thorough program of character education, science, languages, arts and athletics are features of the school, which was founded in 1929. Tuition assistance is available to qualified families, as are specific scholarships (based on merit and/or financial need) for students newly enrolled in 6th-8th grades.
