Coming Events

September 22 “Shirt Off Your Back Night” at Parkland Football Game (vs Freedom).

September 26 – PHS Students Make Chocolate Dipped Pretzels with Barry Dobil from Josh Early Candies, 10-11 AM. Mr. Dobil is bringing his chocolate temperer to a PHS classroom and assisting students with special needs to melt chocolate, dip pretzels, and put sprinkles on them. In addition, he is donating all of the chocolate! The class reached out to various organizations in the Lehigh Valley to also receive pretzel and sprinkle donations. During all lunches, students will sell the pretzels to fellow classmates. This hands-on project will give students an authentic lesson that involves skills that can be used at many job sites.

October 1 – Parkland Girls’ Basketball Program Golf Tournament fundraiser on at Willowbrook Golf Course, 9 AM. For more info, click here.

October 2-7 – Homecoming Week at PHS “Parkland Pays it Forward”

October 9, NO SCHOOL, COLUMBUS DAY

October 13 and 14, PHS Fall Play, “Pride and Prejudice,” 7:30 PM and October 15 at 3 PM.October 19, Community Advisory Council Meeting, 7 PM, Administration Center. The topic of the meeting will be “Curriculum & Instruction: Full-Day Kindergarten Results, 3-5 New Language Arts Program Wonders and 6-12 New ELA Curriculum” which will be presented by Kelly Rosario, Jason Henry, and Diane Neikam from the Curriculum office. The public is invited to attend.
