The largest free Celtic festival on the East Coast, Celtic Classic, celebrated its 30th year over the past three days in Bethlehem.  Great entertainment included Burning Bridget Cleary, Calan, Glenngary Bhoys, Timlin & Kane, Syr, Piper’s Request, Searson, Blackwater, Steel City Rovers, Seamus Kennedy, and a whole a lot more!  The O’Grady Quinlan School of Dance gave crowd- pleasing performances.

Crowd favorites were the bagpipes and fiddlers.

This was Celtic Classic’s thirteenth year of hosting the official U.S. National Highland Games Championship.  The games featured events such as throwing the hammer, and tossing of the caber.  The competitors, the top ten Highland athletes, perform feats of strength, speed, agility and skill

There was plenty of delicious food along with lots of Irish beer and whiskey. And of course, there were kilts, kilts and more kilts!
