Coming Events

October 13 – Elementary students receive a FREE Emoji Ice with lunch purchase in all Elementary Schools!

October 13 and 14, PHS Fall Play, “Pride and Prejudice,” 7:30 PM and October 15 at 3 PM. Tickets will be available at the door.October 17 and 18 – The Jostens company will be at PHS during all lunch periods for juniors to order class rings and seniors to order cap/gown/tassels as follows:

Senior offer: Cap/Gown with Tassel $28.62 total (tax included)

Junior offer: Free T-Hoodie with class ring order and $50 down payment

October 19, Community Advisory Council Meeting, 7 PM, Administration Center. The topic of the meeting will be “Curriculum & Instruction: Full-Day Kindergarten Results, 3-5 New Language Arts Program Wonders and 6-12 New ELA Curriculum” which will be presented by Kelly Rosario, Jason Henry, and Diane Neikam from the Curriculum office. The public is invited to attend.

October 20, EARLY DISMISSAL DAY

Elementary Schools dismiss at 1:45 PM, High School and Middle Schools dismiss at 1 PM

October 26, OMS and SMS Fall Plays, 7 PM at each school.
OMS will do the Legend of Sleepy Hollow and SMS will perform Camp Paradise

October 28 – OMS play is at 2 PM, SMS play at 2 PM and 7 PM

October 29 – OMS play is at 2 PM

October 27 – Halloween Parades at all Elementary Schools, 2:15 PM
TRICK OR TREAT NIGHT IN ALL THREE TOWNSHIPS THAT COMPRISE PARKLAND SCHOOL DISTRICT

October 27 – The President’s Own Marine Band, Parkland High School, 7:30 PM. This is a free performance but tickets ARE required for admission. The only way to get your FREE tickets for this concert is to go to www.marineband.ticketleap.com and request tickets.

October 27, Pink Out at the PHS Football Game vs. Emmaus

A percentage of the proceeds will benefit a Parkland Family who has been battling Breast Cancer.

October 29, Key Club 5k For the Kids in support of Four Diamonds

Parkland High School Key Club would like to invite you to participate in its first ever 5k For the Kids! This Halloween-themed Run/Walk will be taking place on Sunday, October 29th at PHS. We’ll kick off the day with half-mile kids run at 8:30 AM followed by the 5k at 9 AM. We will be awarding prizes to our top finishers and for the best costumes! Advanced registration prices include a free t-shirt and are as follows: Adult- $20, student- $15, child- $10. You can also sign up as a 3-person relay team at the discounted price of $40. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Four Diamonds Fund which strives to conquer pediatric cancer by aiding families affected by the disease through research and financial aid.
