Coming Events

October 25 – National Honor Society Unhaunted House for K – 3 Graders District-wide, Parkland High School Library, 6-7:30 PM. Halloween themed stories, games, crafts, tattoos, face painting, pumpkin decorating and treats for children.

October 26 – The Jostens company will return to PHS during all lunch periods for Juniors to order class rings and Seniors to order cap/gown/tassels as follows:

Senior offer: Cap/Gown with Tassel $28.62 total (tax included)

Junior offer: Free T-Hoodie with class ring order and $50 down payment

October 26, OMS and SMS Fall Plays, 7 PM at each school.

OMS will do the Legend of Sleepy Hollow and SMS will perform Camp Paradise

October 28 – OMS play is at 2 PM, SMS play at 2 PM and 7 PM

October 29 – OMS play is at 2 PM

All tickets are $5 at the respective school auditorium doors

October 26, PHS Annual Fall Blood Drive in the PHS Gym – all day.

October 27, Cetronia’s Fourth Grade Halloween Parade at Arden Courts, 10 AM Students will be taking a community outreach field trip to Arden Courts on Hamilton Blvd. to parade in costumes throughout the facility and spread Halloween cheer to the residents.

October 27 – Halloween Parades at all Elementary Schools, 2:15 PM
TRICK OR TREAT NIGHT IN ALL THREE TOWNSHIPS THAT COMPRISE PARKLAND SCHOOL DISTRICT

October 27 – The President’s Own Marine Band, Parkland High School, 7:30 PM. This is a free performance but tickets ARE required for admission. The only way to get your FREE tickets for this concert is to go to www.marineband.ticketleap.com and request tickets.

October 27, Pink Out at the PHS Football Game vs. Emmaus, 7 PM.

This is the last home regular season game! A percentage of the proceeds will benefit a Parkland Family who has been battling Breast Cancer.

October 29, Key Club 5k For the Kids in support of Four Diamonds

Parkland High School Key Club would like to invite you to participate in its first ever 5k For the Kids! This Halloween-themed Run/Walk will be taking place on Sunday, October 29th at PHS. We’ll kick off the day with half-mile kids run at 8:30 AM followed by the 5k at 9 AM. We will be awarding prizes to our top finishers and for the best costumes! Advanced registration prices include a free t-shirt and are as follows: Adult- $20, student- $15, child- $10. You can also sign up as a 3-person relay team at the discounted price of $40. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Four Diamonds Fund which strives to conquer pediatric cancer by aiding families affected by the disease through research and financial aid.

November 7 – Zumba in the PHS Gym, 3:10 PM.

Spanish Club will host a Zumba fundraiser for a fun hour of exercise. No previous Zumba experience required! Just bring your sneakers and $3! All money collected that day will go to Global Giving, an organization that provides hurricane relief to the people of Puerto Rico.

November 8 – Dine out at Applebee’s on Cedar Crest to support the PHS Post Prom Party! Show your flyer!

Now – November 30 – Orefield Middle School’s annual “COATS FOR KIDS” winter wear drive. Sponsored by the Orefield Middle School Students and Staff,

donations will directly benefit struggling Parkland/Lehigh Valley families!

Drop off your gently used or new donations to the lobby at Orefield Middle School.

Donation items needed:
* COATS(ALL SIZES infant through adult)
* SNOW PANTS
* HATS
* GLOVES
* SCARVES
* WARM WINTER HOODIES/SWEATSHIRTS
