The Lehigh Valley Charter High School for the Arts Theatre Department opens its second production of the school year, with Steel Magnolias written by Robert Harling, on November 17th. This production is directed by Kelly Bickert and includes an incredible cast of young actors.

“I believe Steel Magnolias celebrates the perseverance of the human spirit in the face of tragedy,”says Bickert. “The play cherishes what is vulnerable and fragile in each of us while at the same time reminding us what is strong and resilient within us as well.”

The show runs from November 17-19 with evening performances on the 17th & 18th at 7pm, and a matinee performance on the 19th at 2pm. Tickets are $8-$13 and can be purchased online at www.CharterArts.org or at the door. The Lehigh Valley Charter High School for the Arts is located at 321 East 3rd Street in Bethlehem.
