EQUI-LIBRIUM, INC., Nazareth needs volunteers (14+ years) to be horse leaders and side helpers to   assist during horseback riding and cart driving lessons for children and adults with special needs. Our next 11-week session starts March 12. Volunteers sign up to help the same participant for one hour once a week for 11 weeks. FEED THE CHILDREN, Bethlehem is looking for volunteers to join their “Weeknight Box Brigade.” Volunteers pack boxes of food and personal care items which are then distributed across the Northeastern United States.   The Weeknight Box Brigade takes place the second Thursday of every other month. LILY’S HOPE FOUNDATION, Bethlehem is looking for volunteers for their St. Patrick’s Day Gala Planning Committee. Help solicit for Silent Auction Raffle Baskets and their Wine Pull. Also need help decorating and with the Wine Pull. The St. Patrick’s Day Gala will be held at The Hotel Bethlehem on Saturday, March 17; cocktails at 5pm and dinner 6pm. MEALS ON WHEELS OF NORTHAMPTON COUNTY, Bethlehem is seeking meal delivery volunteers (18+years). Volunteer daily or as little as twice each month, according to your availability. Volunteers must possess a valid driver’s license and have car insurance. Application process includes criminal background check, orientation, and on-the-road training. NORTHEAST MINISTRY, Bethlehem is seeking volunteers to tutor students in grades 1-12 during their After School Homework Club, Monday to Thursday from 3:30-5:30pm. SENIOR CORPS RSVP of LEHIGH, NORTHAMPTON & CARBON COUNTIES, Bethlehem needs volunteer Driver/Escorts and volunteers to do Grocery Shopping for senior citizens and/or individuals with disabilities.   Driver/Escorts provide rides to/from appointments. Grocery shop once or twice a month. Some shopping assignments may include transporting someone to and accompanying them through the store. THE GRESS MOUNTAIN RANCH, Orefield has 70+ pet and farm animals that need volunteers to help feed/water, clean their pens, and do some light maintenance at the ranch. WILDLANDS CONSERVANCY, Emmaus needs volunteers to help with their Wild Eggs Event on Saturday, March 24. Help with fun activities for kids: coloring, cookie decorating, transform wooden eggs into wild animals, make bookmarks, visit with animals, and hunt for eggs on their nature trail.   Help also needed with check-in and parking.
