Lehigh Valley Yoga Festival returns to downtown Easton on July 25

2nd ANNUAL LEHIGH VALLEY YOGA FESTIVAL RETURNS TO NURTURE NATURE CENTER IN DOWNTOWN EASTON JULY 25

EASTON, PA – July 13, 2015 – Fans of yoga, meditation, Kirtan music, and much more will come together again this year for the 2nd Annual Lehigh Valley Yoga Festival on Saturday, July 25 at the Nurture Nature Center in downtown Easton from 10 a.m.10 p.m.

Activities will include yoga classes, workshops, speakers, kirtan music performances, and children’s yoga. Beginner and experienced practitioners alike will find classes for their respective abilities. Novice yoga students can try their very first yoga class, and experienced yoga practitioners can discover new approaches to aid in deepening their current practice. A complete event schedule can be found at http://www.lvyogafest.com/

Event highlights include performances by Sean Johnson and the Wild Lotus Band, and Dalien (a.k.a. 13 Hands). Additionally, there will be a vendor area with artists, wellness practitioners, and health food offerings.

LVYF will again donate a portion of its proceeds to the Pratyush Sinha Foundation, a non-profit organization whose mission is to effectively address deep-rooted issues of violence, aggression, school dropout and addiction amongst at-risk youth by giving them opportunities to practice yoga. The organization believes that in addition to education, children need to be provided with the tools that will make them confident, balanced and strong; all of which can be done through an integrated yoga program. Its ultimate goal is to enable children socially and economically to have a better quality of life and become positive influences in society.

Last year’s event raised $700 for the foundation which is being used this year to provide free yoga classes to the students at Allentown’s new Building 21 high school which opens this fall. More information can be found at http://www.pratyushsinhafoundation.org/.

Tickets are now on sale online via the event web site at four levels:

Lehigh Valley Yoga Festival’s mission is to provide its community with opportunities to unite in a yoga practice through a variety of resources such as movement, music, workshops and well being.
