BOUTIQUE AT THE RINK, Bethlehem is right around the corner (4/30-6/4) and many volunteers are needed to make this annual fundraiser successful. Volunteers are needed for set-up, donation drop-offs, sale days and break down. MUSEUM OF INDIAN CULTURE, Allentown needs volunteers on Saturday, May 5, 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM. Set-up canopies and temporary fencing, clean grill, and food stand for our annual American Indian Relic Show featuring artifact collections from over 50 professional collectors. RIPPLE COMMUNITY, INC., Allentown – Organize and lead a 1-1.5 hour activity on a hobby or special interest (i.e. arts & crafts, jewelry making, crochet, painting, origami, bird house, wood working, recycled plastic bag mats) with socially isolated or homeless people at the community center twice every month, between 1:30-3:30pm with the day of your choice from Wednesday-Saturday. THE SALVATION ARMY CHILDREN’S SERVICES, Allentown is raising awareness for National Foster Care Month with the 7th Annual Rock N’ Run 4 Kids 10k, 5k, and Kids Fun Run to be held on May 12 at Coca-Cola Park. A variety of volunteer opportunities are available from Set Up and Registration to Face Painting and Selfie Station Attendants. Something for all ages and everyone is welcome! YOUTH EDUCATION IN THE ARTS, Allentown is looking for volunteers to help us recruit young people for our program, Cadets2 (C2), a weekend-only, regionally performing drum and bugle corps. Recruitment initiatives will include phone calls, emails, and direct messages on social media as outreach to potential members. Volunteers with strong communication/writing skills, a musical background and/or experience with the marching arts, and availability in the late afternoon/early evening are preferred.
