Bradbury-Sullivan LGBT Community Center Announces Mara Keisling as Keynote Speaker for 2018 Fall Gala



 

Executive Director of National Center for Transgender Equality Will Speak About Transgender Rights

ALLENTOWN, PA — Bradbury-Sullivan LGBT Community Center today announced that Mara Keisling, Executive Director of National Center for Transgender Equality, will deliver a keynote address at their 2018 Fall Gala & LGBT Community Leadership Awards on October 24th at the Centennial Event Center at Homewood Suites in Center Valley.

Since founding National Center for Transgender Equality in 2003, Keisling has led national efforts to expand transgender rights through federal and state policy change. A proud Pennsylvanian, she attended Penn State University before completing graduate work at Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government.

Keisling will be the final speaker at Bradbury-Sullivan LGBT Community Center’s Fall Gala & LGBT Community Leadership Awards, which this year will honor Air Products, Aidan DeStefano, Mary Foltz, and Robert & Montana Jackson.
