Food and Fireworks kick-off the summer season during Memorial Day Weekend.
DORNEY PARK, Allentown, PA (May 22, 2018) – Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom is celebrating the start of summer by offering special events and promotions throughout Memorial Day Weekend. Guests can kick-off summer with a Memorial Day Cookout, take advantage of special ticket offers with Military Days and Season Passholder Bring-A-Friend Days, make a splash with the opening of Wildwater Kingdom, and enjoy a patriotic show of fireworks on Saturday, May 26th.
Guests can start their summer off right with a Memorial Day Cookout in Parkside Pavilion. This all-you-can-eat buffet includes hamburgers, hot dogs, fried chicken, potato salad, pasta salad, watermelon and Coca-Cola® beverages. Admission and meal packages are available online or at the park. Guests can select their meal seating between Saturday, May 26th, Sunday, May 27th and Monday, May 28th from 4:30 – 7:00 PM. The admission and meal package starts at $44.00*, or guests can purchase a “Meal Only” option for $20.00*. Season Passholders interested in attending the event receive a special discount on the event and pay only $15.00*. Season Passholders with All Season Dining can redeem a meal for only $5.00*.
Military Days make their return this summer. Dorney Park is offering free regular admission to any active or retired military personnel during Memorial Day Weekend. Military personnel who qualify for the discount include active military, retired military, National Guard, veterans with honorable or medical discharge and Reserve Officers’ Training Corps. Not only do they receive free admission, active and retired members of the military will also be able to purchase discounted admission tickets for their immediate family members (maximum of six) at a special military discount price of $29.00*. To utilize this offer, tickets can be purchased in-person at Dorney Park by presenting a valid Military ID or online at www.dorneypark.com.
Season Passholders can take advantage of Bring-A-Friend Days during Memorial Day weekend. Passholders can bring up to four friends per pass for only $19.99* per ticket, that’s a $39.00 savings off of our regular general admission price. Passholders can purchase Bring-A-Friend tickets online through the Season Pass Portal or in-person at Dorney Park.
Guests are encouraged to join Dorney Park on Saturday evening, May 26th to enjoy Dorney Park’s Memorial Day Fireworks display in honor of the brave men and women of the United States military. Fireworks begin at 9:30 PM.
Wildwater Kingdom officially opens for the summer season on Saturday, May 26th at 11:00 AM. Guests will be able to enjoy the 26 slides, two wave pools, 2 rivers, and multiple play areas. Located inside Wildwater Kingdom will be the new Tidal Wave Café. The nautical themed restaurant will feature hand-battered fried shrimp, rotisserie chicken, hand-breaded chicken tenderloins, and house-smoked pulled pork. Guests will also be able to enjoy Wildwater Kingdom’s newly renovated bathhouse facilities.
Daily operation of Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom begins Memorial Day weekend and continues through Labor Day, Monday, September 3, 2018.
