Bradbury-Sullivan LGBT Community Center Announces 25th Annual Pride in the Park Festival



 

ALLENTOWN, PA — Following the 2017 merger between Bradbury-Sullivan LGBT Community Center and Pride of the Greater Lehigh Valley, Bradbury-Sullivan LGBT Community Center today announced the headliners who will perform at the 25th Annual Pride in the Park Festival on August 19th, 2018 at Allentown’s Cedar Beach Park. Pride in the Park is a smoke-free event.

 

Drag headliners include Vanessa ‘Vanjie’ Mateo of RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 10 and her drag family, Alexis Mateo (RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 3 / All Stars Season 1) and Jelitza Fearce (Current Miss Renaissance Plus).

 

Musical performers include The Philadelphia Freedom Marching Band, folk singer Bobby Jo Valentine, electro-pop band Sateen, and Spanish-langnguage band Interminable.  Local entertainers will be announced shortly.

 

In addition, the festival will also include Gay Bingo benefiting FACT (Fighting AIDS Continuously Together), and youth activities all day at Kids Space and Project SILK Teen Space as well as more than a hundred vendors, including the new artist promenade and PPL Non-Profit Resource Area.
