SATURDAY IN THE PARK SERIES FEATURES “CRAZY HEARTS”

“Crazy Hearts” will be performing as part of the Allentown Department of Parks & Recreation’s 2018 Saturday in the Park concert series at historic West Park on Saturday, June 23 from 7:00pm to 9:00pm.  West Park is located between 15th and 16th Street between Linden and Turner streets.

According to the group’s website,”Crazy Hearts,” formerly known as CrazyHeart, changed their name in 2012 with the addition of a new lead guitar player. This name change is taking them in a new and exciting direction. While performing as CrazyHeart, they have opened for national recording stars Big and Rich, the Charlie Daniel’s Band, Josh Turner, Billy Currington, Mark Wills, Kitty Wells and David Lee Murphy, among others. While performing as CrazyHeart, they have won more than 20 music awards from the Lehigh Valley Music Association in the last several years.

Jarrett Dean Rollins (lead male vocals and rhythm guitar) and Bonnie Jean Rollins (lead female vocals) from San Antonio, Texas give Crazy Hearts its true country sound. Bill Cobel (bass guitar), Chris Jones (steel, guitar and harmonica) Billy Patrick (Lead Guitar), RJ Cramer (Fiddle & Vocals) and Butch Werkheiser (drums) provide the background music and drive that propels the band.

Saturday’s concert is the second of six Saturday concerts at West Park from Memorial Day to September 15.  The full schedule is available in the city’s Adventure Allentown publication.
