BOYS & GIRLS CLUB OF ALLENTOWN has youth opportunities for volunteers age 14+ to assist program staff with the delivery of summer programs and activities – educational, arts, sports, recreation, lunches & snacks, etc. during their 9 week summer program now through 8/17. Opportunities are available every weekday from 10am-6pm at various locations in Allentown. Volunteers can choose a week, day, or days that fit their schedule. COMMUNITY ACTION COMMITTEE OF THE LEHIGH VALLEY, Fountain Hill – The SHE Initiative of CACLV is offering a three-day camp at DeSales University on June 26 and 27; the last day will be at the Lehigh Ropes Course. SHE is an all-girls empowerment for ages 9-11 years. Four female volunteers (age 18+) are needed for these 3 days from 8am-3pm. Volunteers will meet at Fountain Hill Elementary on June 26th. FEED THE CHILDREN, Bethlehem needs volunteers to help with Box Brigade Thursday evenings and Saturday morning to help pack food and hygiene boxes for children and families in need. Helps is needed from 9am-noon Saturday July 14, 5-8pm Thursday August 9, 9am-noon Saturday, September 8, 5-8pm Thursday October 11, 9am-noon Saturday November 10, and 5-8pm on Thursday December 13. LEHIGH VALLEY SCORE, LCCC, Schnecksville needs experienced business people to provide confidential business mentoring services in person and online.   Lead seminars and workshops to help small business owners meet goals and achieve success. THE SALVATION ARMY CHILDREN’S SERVICES, Allentown is currently looking for energetic, responsible volunteers willing to help with child care services while parents attend Trust Based Relational training sessions. Volunteers must attend Kids club child care training session on June 26 from 5:30-7:30pm. Certain clearances and background checks are required. VOLUNTEER CENTER OF THE LEHIGH VALLEY, Bethlehem is recruiting high school students entering 10th grade for their goLEAD Leadership Program which will take place from 9am-3pm on Monday, July 16 to Friday, July 20. YOUTH EDUCATION IN THE ARTS, Allentown will be hosting Drum Corps International Shows on Saturday, June 30, Thursday July 5, Saturday July 21, and Wednesday August 1 and needs volunteers from 5-10:30pm. Volunteers will be given a meal and a t-shirt. Following roles are available: parking, ticket scanner, usher, program sales (a seated position).
