On Nov. 7, 7:30 p.m., the Musikfest Café presented by Yuengling welcomes accomplished singer and actress Katharine McPhee. Renowned for her powerhouse presence and show-stopping performances, McPhee burst onto the scene during a storied run on Season 5 of American Idol. She is well-known to television audiences for starring roles in the CBS drama series Scorpion and the NBC musical drama Smash.  In 2006 her first single, “Somewhere Over the Rainbow/My Destiny,” debuted at #2 on Billboard’s Hot Singles Sales chart. Propelled by the gold-certified single, “Over It,” her 2007 self-titled album debuted at #2 on the Billboard Top 200.

In 2010 McPhee returned with two albums – Unbroken and Christmas is the Time to Say I love You – and in 2015 garnered fan praise for Hysteria. McPhee reimagined a host of timeless jazz standards on her 2017 album I Fall In Love Too Easily. In the spring of 2018, she made her Broadway debut starring as Jenna in the hit musical Waitress, featuring music and lyrics by Sara Bareilles. Tickets for the show are $35-$45.

Due to popular demand, EagleMania returns to the Musikfest Café Jan. 5, 7:30 p.m. Formed in 2010, EagleMania has evolved into a nationally touring tribute to The Eagles, performing to sold out audiences everywhere they go. The combination of heartfelt ballads, rock anthems laden with guitar harmonies and the unmistakable sound of vocal harmonies as only the Eagles can do has propelled the band for the past 40-plus years, positioning them as one of the most successful and popular bands in music history. EagleMania performs all the hits of the Eagles, as well as Don Henley, Glen Frey and Joe Walsh’s solo albums. Their attention to detail and ability to reproduce the Eagles’ sound exactly leaves their fans with an experience that they do not soon forget. Tickets for the show are $29-$35.
