Penn State Lehigh Valley to offer SAT review course beginning early January


CENTER VALLEY, Pa. (Oct. 9, 2018) – Penn State Lehigh Valley will offer a comprehensive SAT review course taught by Penn State instructors to help prepare test takers for the SAT exam. The course will begin January 5 and run to February 23, 2019.  Classes will be held at the Penn State Lehigh Valley campus in Center Valley.  The SAT review course will take place on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. The course fee is $299.

“This comprehensive program, taught by experienced Penn State instructors, will improve student’s comfort level with the exam process and guide them toward improving their test scores,” said Andrea Tessier, director of community outreach and engagement, Penn State Lehigh Valley. “We know college admission is one of the most significant milestones in a student’s life and this course can help with the process.”

Participants will develop effective critical reading and writing strategies, review essential mathematical skills and concepts, discover proven test-taking techniques, and gain instructional help and feedback with the concepts covered.
