Seven-Time GRAMMY Winners Lady Antebellum to Headline Musikfest Aug. 4



 

 

BETHLEHEM, PA— Chart-topping GRAMMY winners Lady Antebellum will headline Musikfest 2019 when the group performs Sun., Aug. 4, 7 p.m., at the festival’s Sands Steel Stage. Tickets for the concert are $64-$99 and go on sale starting Tues., Dec. 4, 10 a.m., to ArtsQuest Members and Fri., Dec. 7, 10 a.m., to the public at www.musikfest.org and 610-332-3378.

Since teaming up in 2006, Lady Antebellum has sold more than 18 million albums worldwide while earning nine number-one hits on the country radio charts. The group, consisting of Hillary Scott, Charles Kelley and Dave Haywood, quickly rose to stardom on the strength of hits like “I Run to You” and “Love Don’t Live Here” from its self-titled debut, as well as “American Honey” from its second recording, “Need you Now.”

The multi-platinum smash “Need You Now” earned Lady Antebellum its first GRAMMY Awards including “Record of the Year” and “Song of the Year” in 2010. The group has captured seven GRAMMY Awards and was the first artist in the history of the CMA Awards to win Single of the Year in back-to-back years. Lady Antebellum’s latest album, “Heart Break,” was released in 2017 and features the hit singles “You Look Good” and “Heart Break.” The group returns to Musikfest after a sold-out show in 2016.

The Lady Antebellum concert is supported by Pennsylvania Housing Finance Agency, in association with media partner Cat Country 96. One of the largest music festivals in the nation, Musikfest features more than 500 performances on 17 stages throughout Bethlehem over 10 days. Proceeds from Musikfest support ArtsQuest’s free programming for the community year-round at the Banana Factory arts center and the SteelStacks arts and cultural campus. Dates for the 36th edition of the festival are Aug. 2-11.
