I was excited to hear that Marvel Universe Live was coming to PPL Center in November 2018!  I’ve been a fan of Marvel Comics since a very young age.  Weekly I purchased every comic book that I could with my allowance, following along with the adventures. Going from cartoons to the big screen and now live shows, up close and personal.

From the 1st Explosive act until the closing act on Opening Night of Marvel Universe Live this show captivated everyone in attendance!  Several 100 people filled the seats tonight to see their Superheroes come to life! There were children and adults all around me glued to every scene and action hero. I could see kids pointing left, right and up in the rafters as the action sprang to life!

The evening started off as The Avengers helped Dr. Strange recover the Wand of Watoomb. Battle after Battle they were transported from Space back to Earth and to many other locations, The Avengers traveled through time portals created by Thor’s brother Loki.

Bruce Banner was in several scenes, and I was looking forward to when the Hulk would make an appearance. It took Teamwork of all The Avengers to channel their energy force to Iron Man in order to break the energy field around Bruce Banner’s cage as he was being held captive. Once the energy field was broken….WOW…the Hulks rage unleashed havoc upon the villains, and The Avengers saved the Universe & restored the Wand of Watoomb.

The backdrops, choreography, scores, stage settings, visual effects, acrobatics, motorcycle tricks, high energy stunts, fire tricks, and aerial maneuvers from the Superheroes and Supervillains was unbelievable, to say the least!

This show reminded me of a Superhero Cirque, with tons of action happening all around me.

This is definitely a show for All Ages, young & old alike if you can make it out I highly recommend it. I thoroughly enjoyed this event and will see it again in the future.

What can I say, there’s a kid in all of us!
