FOUNTAIN HILL CEMETERY WREATHS ACROSS AMERICA, December 15, 2018



 

The National Wreaths Across America Event

The Historic Fountain Cemetery, 1121 Graham Street, Fountain Hill  will be hosting their 3rd Annual Wreaths Across America event on Saturday, December 15, at 12 Noon. Wreaths Across America, (WAA), is a national non-profit organization that partners with over 1,500 locations in the United States and beyond with placing a wreath on Every one of our veteran’s graves at Christmas time, with over 9,000 wreaths will be placed on graves in Normandy. The ceremony will include Pastor Jerry Kulp; guest speakers, Stephen R. Petres, Commanding Officer (Navy Operational Support Center, L.V.) and Marilyn Kelly-Cavotta, BS (Veteran Health Program); along with participation by Bethlehem America Legion Rifle Squad, Post #379; Bethlehem Marine Corps Color Guard Det. 284; George Van Doren, Bugler; Freedom High School Band Members; and Liberty High School Bagpipers. Local area Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, and Girl Scouts will assist in honoring and laying wreaths for over 300 veterans buried in the cemetery.
