CANCER SUPPORT COMMUNITY GREATER LEHIGH VALLEY will be hosting a volunteer kick-off 7-8PM Feb 2nd to jump-start 2019 and help you gain an understanding of who we are, who we serve and why volunteers are so important to us. FORGOTTEN FELINES AND FIDOS, INC., Germansville is looking for cat lovers to help clean food bowls, wash linens, clean litter boxes, etc. for about 150 felines at their shelter house/barn. LEHIGH COUNTY HUMANE SOCIETY, Allentown – Help the dogs get the exercise they need and get in shape while doing a good deed. Volunteers (18+ or age 12-17 with adult) walk one of our dogs while enjoying the beautiful creek side scenery 11AM – 1PM on Wednesdays and Fridays. Registration, orientation & Photo ID required. NAZARETH CENTER FOR THE ARTS is looking to fill 1 board member position. Board meetings are held at 7PM on the 2nd Monday of every month. Background in art, music or previous board experience appreciated but not required. Just a willingness to educate, inspire, and celebrate the visual and performing arts in Nazareth. ST. LUKE’S UNIVERSITY HEALTH NETWORK, Bethlehem, Quakertown and Warren Campuses need Volunteer Escorts, Patient Advocates and Hospice Volunteers from 8AM-12PM or 12-4PM Monday through Friday. Spend time socializing with and providing comfort items to patients and lending a hand to staff. This opportunity is diverse and very active.
