AMERICA ON WHEELS MUSEUM, Allentown seeks dedicated volunteers (16+ years) for the 2019 season. Volunteers are needed for their 1950’s Café from 11:30am-2:30pm on Saturday and from noon-2:30pm on Sunday. Other areas to share talents are: School Field Trips and Summer Camp Session in July. DELAWARE & LEHIGH NATIONAL HERITAGE CORRIDOR, Easton is looking for volunteers from 9am-12pm on Saturday, April 13 to help with Hugh Moore Park Clean Up. Meet at the National Canal Museum to break into groups for various activities including litter clean up, prepping for educational field trips, clearing branches, planting flowers, etc. Please wear appropriate clothes for being outside and closed-toed shoes, long pants, and long sleeve shirts. FORGOTTEN FELINES AND FIDOS, INC., Germansville – with kitten season fast approaching,FFFneeds volunteer foster homes. Help provide a nurturing home for our incoming kittens and bring them to the shelter for required vet visits and to adoption days on Saturdays. Home inspections will be required. LEHIGH VALLEY ACTIVE LIFE, Allentown needs volunteers to help with Bingo every Wednesday evening from 5:30-9pm. Help set up games and assist participants. Bingo callers are especially needed. ST. LUKE’S UNIVERSITY HEALTH NETWORK, Bethlehem, Quakertown and Warren Campuses need Volunteer Escorts, Patient Advocates and Hospice Volunteers from 8AM-12PM or 12-4PM Monday through Friday. Spend time socializing with and providing comfort items to patients and lending a hand to staff. This opportunity is diverse and very active. THIRD STREET ALLIANCE, Easton is looking for volunteers to make their March 30th 23rd Annual Bistro Fundraiser successful. Volunteers are needed between 9am-5pm on March 28 and 29 to help with food prep (help caterer chop, dice, etc.) and for set up (tables, chairs, lots of heavy lifting).
