Philadelphia native Meek Mill (Robert Williams) entertained fans Friday night at Allentown’s PPL Center. He’s currently on his nationwide tour, “The Motivation Tour.” His latest album “Championships” was released in November and debuted at number one on the Billboard Top 200 charts.  Meek Mill performed many songs from this album, including “Intro,” “Trauma,” “Uptown Vibes,” “On Me,” “Respect The Game,” “100 Summers,” and “Almost Slipped.” Most notable was his performance of “Dreams and Nightmares,” which was accompanied by images of downtown Philly. This song has been deemed “the greatest Philly sports anthem ever.” The song achieved this honor when The Philadelphia Eagles rapped along to this song after their historic win over the Patriots in Super Bowl 2017. Although Meek Mill has received bad press for his 2017 arrest, he appears to have a new outlook on life and has really been able to connect to his fans.  He even took a moment to encourage them to follow their dreams. Overall, Meek Mill delivered a powerful, energized, and passionate performance, and kept his fans highly engaged. For more information on the tour, please visit: https://meekmill.com/tour.
