ARTSQUEST, Bethlehem is looking for volunteers (adult supervision for age 14-15) to join the best music festival in North America – Musikfest! EASTERN PA DOWN SYNDROME CENTER, Trexlertown is hosting an event at Eight Oaks Craft Distillers on Thursday, July 11 from 12pm-9pm. Volunteers (adult supervision for ages 14-17) are needed to help at the raffle tables, kids crafts, and outdoor games area. Four-hour time slots are available from 12-4pm and/or 4-8pm. GRACEDALE NURSING HOME, Nazareth needs a volunteer to play either the piano or organ for their weekly Friday worship service from 2-3pm. Someone who could commit to most of the Friday afternoons through August is preferred. Beginning in September, the schedule could be reduced to twice a month. GREATER VALLEY YMCA, Easton is looking for volunteers (adult supervision for ages 15-17) to help with their Annual Firecracker 4-Miler Race from 6-11:30am on Thursday, July 4. Proceeds support youth program scholarships at the Easton/Phillipsburg Branch of Greater Valley YMCA. LEHIGH VALLEY ZOO, Schnecksville is looking for dedicated volunteers (adult supervision 10-12 years) for the 2019 season. Volunteers may assist with positions including interactive exhibits, conservation activity stations, special events, memberships, marketing, and grounds departments. MORAVIAN HALL SQUARE, Nazareth runs independently facilitated activities and needs volunteers for a Poker Night every Wednesday at 6-8pm on Bethany and Morningstar Neighborhoods and a Macramé Instructor for a weekly Friday class from 2-3pm. Call Pam Kleckner, 610-746-1120, pamk@moravian.com.

 

SECOND HARVEST FOOD BANK, Nazareth needs volunteers for their Free Fridays (when member agencies shop at their food bank at no cost to them). Usually up to 10 volunteers are needed from 12:30-2:30pm. THE DAVINCI DISCOVERY CENTER, Allentown is looking for two to three skilled carpenters to volunteer to build a small set of stairs with a railing and platform for fun, new activities coming soon to the Center. This should be a five to ten days project (approximately) with the possibility of beginning the week of June 24th. References will be required. A light breakfast and lunch will be provided.
