July 22-26, 9am-12pm daily at Lehigh Valley Charter High School for the Arts, 321 East 3rd Street, Bethlehem PA.

This workshop is part of the school’s Summer Academy, a program of arts enrichments workshops that is open to the community.

Join us for an introductory exploration of character development and fiction writing taught by Paul Walsh. Students will engage with a variety of character exercises that will aid them in creating fleshed-out and well-rounded characters. Students will also focus on other aspects of fictional writing including but not limited to setting, point of view, metaphor, and symbolism. Students will utilize this new knowledge to create pieces of original fiction throughout the course of the week.  Open to children entering 6th-9th grades.    For registration information and fee, go to www.CharterArts.org or call 610-868-2971 Ext. 3185.
