BETHLEHEM, PA – Take a moment to capture a memory!

Amid the music and festivities of Musikfest this year will be two new art installations that make for the ultimate selfie and photo spots.

From Aug. 2-4 at Familienplatz, muralist and sign painter Samantha Redles will create a giant “Greetings from Bethlehem” postcard mural for fest-goers to take snapshots of and share with family and friends via social media. Redles is originally from Coopersburg and attended Moravian Academy in Bethlehem, so the mural is a home coming for her.

Also new this year is the captivating Prismatica Art Installation by Creos of Canada, located throughout Americaplatz on the SouthSide Aug. 1-11 and Guardian Insurance Company of America Zinzenplatz on the North Side Aug. 2-11. Prismatica is a dynamic instillation comprised of pivoting prisms more than 6 feet tall, transforming the space into a giant kaleidoscope. The installment has been displayed across the globe including New York, Chicago, Montreal and more. Prismatica is created by RAW Design in collaboration with ATOMIC3.

Festival attendees who have a passion for photography will have an opportunity through the PHOTOPASS workshops to go behind-the-scenes with former Rolling Stone photographer Brian Hineline and learn tips and techniques to photographing concert photography like the working editional media. The program, which includes the opportunity to photograph artists like The Chainsmokers, The Revivalists and Brad Paisley, is a fundraiser for ArtsQuest’s arts education programs.
