ALLENTOWN SYMPHONY ASSOCIATION, Allentown is looking for volunteers for performances at beautiful, historic Miller Symphony Hall. Duties include: greet patrons, scan tickets, seat patrons, give directions; for jazz events- set up tables with candles and print materials, clear tables at end of event. LEHIGH VALLEY HEALTH NETWORK, MARATHON FOR VIA, Lehigh Valley is seeking volunteers (adult supervision for ages 12-14 years) for their annual marathon on Saturday, September 7 (9am-5pm) and Sunday, September 8 (5:30am-1:30pm). The Marathon takes place starting in Allentown, through Bethlehem, and ending in Easton, PA. Volunteers are needed to help with registration, pack pick-up, hand out water to runners, and course marshal spots (cheering on runners) along the route. MEALS ON WHEELS OF THE GREATER LEHIGH VALLEY, Allentown is looking for people to connect with their community by volunteering as a substitute driver or visitor on one of 85 routes. Flexible scheduling; volunteer once a week, once a month, or whenever available! Meals are delivered to clients Monday through Friday from 10-11:30am or 10:45am-12:15pm depending on route selected.
