Musikfest 2019 was capped off last night with the Brad Paisley Concert on the Southside, that had every seat filled and people standing everywhere in between!

Opening for Paisley was Riley Green, hailing from Alabama. Riley is a very personable musician with many great songs hitting the charts! He interacted quite often with the fans doing High 5’s, Handshakes and taking Selfies!

The crowd loved him!

Brad’s Opening song: “Beat This” had the Fans standing immediately!  As if everybody was on cue, row by row people stood up and started to sing & sway. There were people on stage with the band, in the front pit area and standing all around the stage, clapping and singing along.

Brad brought out every Branch of the Military in between songs and Thanked them personally for their Service each with a handshake. He gave a guitar to a young girl near the stage, passed out several guitar picks to fans as well.

The Kissing Cam was played a few times throughout tonight’s show and the crowd totally got into it!!!

About an hour into the concert Riley Green came back out and performed a duet with Paisley: Grandpa’s Never Die.  This is one of Riley’s Top Hits and once again the crowd was singing word for word!

Paisley sang many top hits including:

Storm

She’s Everything

Last Time/Purple (Rain)

Old Alabama

Crushing

Chattahoocie (my fave) and many more!

2+ hours, Non-Stop Performance, 23 Songs in All!!!

This was my 2nd Musikfest Country Concert Experience and it truly was just that…..an Amazing Experience to say the least! Brad Paisley is a Country Music Icon in my book! I can tell he loves his family from the words in his songs and the videos on the back screen. It was great to see fans of all ages there!
