HOTEL BETHLEHEM RECOGNIZED BY HISTORIC HOTELS OF AMERICA FOR EXEMPLARY BRAND AWARENESS

Hotel also nominated for awards in three other categories.

BETHLEHEM, PA – October 30, 2015 – Historic Hotel Bethlehem was recently honored by Historic Hotels of America (HHA) for exemplary brand awareness and received a 100 percent score for its role in celebrating history and supporting brand standards, one of only four HHA properties to receive the honor nationally.

The National Trust developed historic and architectural criteria, which must be satisfied for a hotel to be eligible for the National Trust program with Historic Hotels of America. In order to ensure that these criteria are met, members of Historic Hotels of America are visited regularly and evaluated under the Brand Assurance Program.

“The intent of the Brand Assurance Program is to recognize and assist members that have been careful stewards of the physical structure and historic qualities of their properties,” said Heather Taylor, Manager of Marketing Communications for HHA. “Emphasis is given to how the hotel celebrates and tells guests about its history, how guests are able to experience and appreciate the hotel’s history, and how the hotel promotes its affiliation with Historic Hotels of America and the National Trust for Historic Preservation.”

“As the General Manager I am extremely fortunate to work with a great team that not only understands our hotel’s brand but is passionate about it too,” says General Manager Dennis Costello. “It’s easy to train them on the HHA brand principles because they believe in them. They take pride in their work and it shows in our exceptional accommodations and the meals served in our restaurants, as well as in the many great events, meetings and weddings that we do every day. And I in turn am proud of them and this honor they have earned for our hotel.”
