Nazareth Area Restaurant Week presented by the Nazareth Business Council, a proud partner of the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber

Attention Lehigh Valley foodies: It’s time to start working up an appetite. The FIRST EVER Nazareth Area Restaurant Week is right around the corner!

Set for Sunday, September 8th through Saturday, September 14th, the week-long event is designed to attract residents and visitors to the area to discover all of the unique eateries the Nazareth community has to offer.

Participating Nazareth Area Restaurant Week locations offer “set-price” or “prix fixe” breakfast, lunch and dinner options designed to satisfy a wide spectrum of palates and budgets. Diners can expect a variety of appetizers, entrees and desserts at promotional prices. There are dine-in options and takeout specials too.

Fifteen eateries have signed on for the event, presented by the Nazareth Business Council. Those that are participating: The Chicken Corner, Birthright Brewing Co., Rios Brazilian Steakhouse, Zanette’s Nazareth Grill, Mad J’s BBQ, Slate Quarry Hotel, Sweets N Savories, The Green Stop, The Cherry Hill Hotel, Miguel’s Restaurant & Lounge, Bella Napoli Trattoria, Naz-O-Nut, Rita’s of Nazareth, SubStation and Widow’s Tavern & Grille.

When asked why Sweets N Savories owner John Huber felt it was important to participate in this event, he said, “The Nazareth area has been overlooked for too long as a place to get great food.  It’s time we let everyone know we have some wonderful establishments in the area and it’s only going to get better. We are hoping that by getting our name out to a larger demographic area, people will realize there is a great bakery in the area that has both pastries and fresh breads.”

Michael Woodland, Chair of the Nazareth Business Council mentioned, “The Nazareth area continues to have great new foodie options open. These locally owned businesses are offering more choices and expanding the draw for dining in our wonderful town. NBC’s inaugural restaurant week provides a great time to explore and enjoy the many participating venues. Please join me in supporting them!”

Mary Moeller, Cluster Market Leader with the BB&T Nazareth branch offices, and a proud sponsor of this event said, “Restaurant Week is a great time to connect with your local community while generating buzz for local food scenes.  It gives restaurants and eateries a chance to impress customers with their food and service, and the experience may persuade guests to come back and be repeat customers.”

“The Nazareth Business Council is thrilled to bring attention and awareness to all the delicious eateries in our area,” said Jessica O’Donnell, Executive Vice President of the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber. “Whether you plan on exploring a new eatery or visiting a favorite, this week long event offers residents and visitors across the Lehigh Valley a fantastic way to explore so many scrumptious flavors that these businesses are offering.  Almost every community across the Lehigh Valley holds at least one Restaurant Week, if not two, throughout the year. At the Chamber, this is an initiative we work on to drive people from all across the Lehigh Valley into the specific community that is hosting a Restaurant Week. We want to showcase all things Nazareth. It is about time we have one here! There are so many great options—something for everyone and every lifestyle. For the businesses participating, it is a great opportunity to help boost sales and drive foot traffic into the area. Because of the partnership with the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber, the Nazareth Business Council has a larger reach and more exposure.”
