Tickets for tasting sessions, which support programming at Oktoberfest at SteelStacks, go on sale today

BETHLEHEM, PA—From German-style Märzens to autumn-inspired pumpkin ales, the hand-crafted beers of Pennsylvania’s award-winning craft breweries take center stage as the Oktoberfest Brewers’ Village presented by Wegmans returns for its sixth year Oct. 11-12. During the two-hour tasting sessions, attendees can sample over 30 different beers from more than 15 craft breweries. Tickets are $20 for ArtsQuest Members and $25 for the public in advance or$25 for ArtsQuest Members and $30 for the public day of. At the Brewers’ Village, which takes place inside the ArtsQuest Center’s Musikfest Café presented by Yuengling, guests sample a diverse array of local favorites, as well as Oktoberfests, limited-edition and seasonal beers from brewers throughout the commonwealth. New additions this year include Great Barn Brewery, Truly, Victory Brewing Co. and Pocono Brewing Co., which opened their Lehigh Valley Taproom in Whitehall earlier this year.

Brewers Village tasting sessions take place Friday at 7 p.m. and Saturday at 1 and 4 p.m. All attendees receive a sampling mug and can meet the breweries’ staff and brewers, as well as enjoy the delicious food, fun and games of Oktoberfest, now in its ninth year. Designated driver tickets are also available for $10.

Oktoberfest, presented by Lehigh Valley International Airport, is a free-admission festival that features German food, beer and live music, as well as attractions such as the popular dachshund races, stein hoisting competitions and more. Festival dates are Oct. 4–6 & 11-13. Hours are Fridays, 6-10 p.m.; Saturdays, noon-10 p.m.; and Sundays, noon-6 p.m. Proceeds from the Brewers’ Village go to support the free programming at the event.
