The City of Allentown Department of Parks and Recreation will conduct a public meeting on the Auburn Cross Trails Park master plan on Thursday, November 14 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in City Council Chambers.

City staff and representatives from design firm Michael Baker International will be available to hear input on this planning project for a new city park and trail connection. The study area is in the south-central portion of the city and is bounded by Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, Basin Street, and Auburn Street and examines how to connect the area to the Delaware & Lehigh National Heritage Corridor.

Michael Baker International was retained in June 2018 to create a master plan for the site which includes the city’s former incinerator property.

Attendees requiring special assistance at the meeting are asked to contact Michael Baker International at 215-444-0888.
