Burkholder HVAC Honored As Lehigh Valley Best Small Business Nominee

Emmaus, Pa. –Burkholder’s Heating and Air Conditioning has been honored twice in the past several weeks by recognition from the Lehigh Valley business community, including nominations as one of the Best Small Businesses and Fastest Growing Companies in the region.

Burkholder’s is a finalist in the Lehigh Valley Business journal’s annual “Business of the Year” awards in the 36-100 Employee category and Lehigh Valley Business has also ranked the company 68 out the top 100 fastest-growing companies in its coverage area, said President Bob Burkholder.

“This is really special because it comes from our fellow business owners, who understand and recognize the day-to-day work that goes into maintaining the top-level service our customers have come to expect from us,” said Burkholder. “But more importantly, it recognizes our great team members who provide that service and give us the ability to continue to grow.”

The Business of the Year award program, produced by Lehigh Valley Business, the Greater Lehigh Valley’s premier business news publication, is presented by Highmark Blue Shield and sponsored by Lehigh Valley Economic Development Corporation, Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Peerless Business Advisors, ArtsQuest, Equinox and the John Yurconic Agency.

The Business of the Year awards program celebrates the region’s most dynamic businesses and business leaders who share a commitment to professional excellence, business growth and the community. Finalists were selected in six categories:  Business of the Year (1-35 Employees), Business of the Year (36-100 Employees), Business of the Year (101+ Employees), Emerging Business of the Year, Corporate Citizen of the Year and Executive of the Year.

Finalists and winners were chosen by an independent panel of judges including: Polly Beste, Retired President, Beste Marketing Services, Inc, Joseph Bubba, Managing Partner, Chair – Healthcare Law, Fitzpatrick, Lentz & Bubba, P.C., Lin Erickson, Executive Director and CEO, Da Vinci Science Center, and Joseph P. The Business of the Year award finalists will be recognized and the winner in each category will be announced during a formal awards dinner on December 8, 2015 at ArtsQuest in Bethlehem, PA.
